Aboveground Tanks
General Industries’ Aboveground Tanks are UL-142 labeled and designed for storing flammable and combustible liquids. Manufactured as horizontal or vertical, the tank can be cylindrical or rectangular, using carbon or stainless steel. Both single and double walled tanks are designed to meet the requirements of each project and specification, and UL-2085 protected storage tanks such as the Fireguard are available. General Industries' also manufacture the FAST Fueler (Factory Assembled Storage Tank) which provides partial to complet fluid handling and monitoring equipment installation at he factory. The FAST Fueler is ideal for emergency or portable requirements. Tank capacities up to 50,000 gallons are available in single or multi-compartments. Certain secondary containment tanks such as the Fireguard, Flameshield and Protected Generator Subbases provide a 30 year third party warranty with STI (Steel Tank Institute), with all aboveground tanks having a one year manufacturing warranty. Every tank is subject to Quality Verification Standards, utilizing up to date manufacturing practices, complying with NFPA-30 and International Fire Code requirements. Custom fabrication is available.
